While the traditional Pekin Marigold Festival parade will not be possible this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are excited to offer our parade “Drive-Thru” style! Even though the logistics of the parade will be different from previous years, your cooperation and sense of community spirit will remain the same. Our committee is committed to keeping this tradition alive while maintaining the health & safety of all involved.

Time: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM, last car in at 10:45 AM
Location: Designated route through Pekin Mineral Springs Park
What is a “Drive-Thru” Parade?
Normally, parade entries travel down a parade route while spectators observe from the side. This year, spectators will instead DRIVE-THRU a line-up of stationary parade entries positioned on a designated route through Pekin Mineral Springs Park. Parade participants are highly encouraged to design a visual display/float which promotes their organization while making it exciting for the Drive-Thru audience!
