PEKIN AREA chamber of commerce

Voter's Guide

The municipal elections will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019.  If you need information about voter registration, absentee ballots, early voting, polling locations, etc., call the Tazewell County Voter Registration department at 477-2267.

The Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce believes it is important that Chamber members exercise their right to vote.  The chamber also believes it is important that business leaders be informed voters, particularly when it comes to issues that can affect the vibrancy of the local business environment.

With that in mind, the chamber sent a questionnaire to candidates for Pekin Mayor and Pekin City Council. Follow the links below to see their responses to that survey. By clicking on the names you can see the candidates completed questionnaire, or you can click on a question number and compare all of the candidates responses to that question. On most of the comparison questions there is also a preferred response by the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce, based on our 2019 Legislative Agenda.
